My name is Wen, I am a 35-year-old Dutch girl (I feel weird referring to myself as woman) who moved to England in 2020. I live in a tiny little village with my Husband, and our three wonderfully weird cats.

Daily life can be rather boring at times due to my chronic illness, but I try my best to keep myself busy with books, video games, journaling, films and shows, and other cosy hobbies. Next to that, I am also currently working towards my degree in English Literature and Creative Writing! I feel most like myself during autumn (and winter), get oddly excited about rain and will ALWAYS jump into all the puddles (especially to make my husband squeal), will spend an extreme amount of time to get as much dopamine from stepping on a single crunchy leaf, and I may be a little bit too obsessed with tea and cups.

I first started blogging in my late teens as an outlet while I was going through a very dark period in my life, and this continued into my twenties. Now, in my thirties, my reasons have changed, and I will use this as a cosy little place to write about daily life, studying (in the hopes that it will keep me accountable), the books that I read, games I play, the cosy hobbies, and adventures I discover along the way.
So grab a cup of tea, make sure it’s boiling hot, of course, sit back in a comfy chair, and I hope you like cats.
